The POWER 15 is a 15kWh home battery backup system that puts a 5kVA pure sine wave hybrid inverter, 15,027Wh of LiFePO4 storage and a 9,000W solar MPPT input into one floor-standing IP54 steel cabinet. Built as a whole home battery backup system for homes on unstable grids, it switches from mains to battery in 10ms and accepts grid, solar or generator input, so a household keeps running through an outage without a separate inverter or charge controller.

Providing 15kWh battery storage in a single cabinet, the POWER 15 delivers 5kVA with 208/220/230/240V selectable output and total harmonic distortion at or below 3% on linear loads, backed by 102–120% overload for a full minute so compressors and pumps start without tripping. As an all-in-one home energy storage system it replaces the separate battery bank, hybrid inverter and charge controller that a conventional install needs.
  2. For homes facing outages, load shedding schedules or no grid at all, it doubles as a home emergency power system and a complete off-grid solar system with battery storage: the MPPT accepts a 9,000W array across a 60–450V window, the AC input takes 90–280V from a weak supply or a generator, and the LiFePO4 pack is rated for 10,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge.

Product Advantages

  • 15kWh of LiFePO4 storage. Eight 587Ah cells at 25.6V give 15,027Wh — enough to carry a whole household through an evening peak, a scheduled outage, or a full night of air conditioning without touching the grid.
  • 5kVA pure sine output, 4kVA from the battery alone. Rated 5kVA when solar is contributing and 4kVA on battery-only operation, with selectable 208/220/230/240V output and THD ≤3% on linear loads — clean enough for compressors, pumps and electronics on the same circuit.
  • 9,000W of solar input on one MPPT. A 500V open-circuit ceiling, 27A input current and a 60–450V tracking window let you land a large array on a single input at 99.5% MPPT efficiency — no second charge controller.
  • Built for unstable grids and generators. AC input accepts 90–280V in APP/generator mode (170–264V in UPS mode) at power factor ≥0.99, so brownouts, voltage sag and a backup generator all work without a separate transfer switch.
  • 10ms switchover, >99.5% mains efficiency. In UPS mode the load moves to battery in 10ms; in generator mode, 20ms. On mains the unit passes power at over 99.5% efficiency and idles at under 35W.
  • IP54 cold-rolled steel cabinet. A sealed, forced-air-cooled steel enclosure rated IP54 for dust and water spray — it can sit in a garage, covered porch or plant room rather than being confined to a dry indoor corner.
  • 10,000 cycles to 70% SOH. Rated at 100% depth of discharge, 0.5P, 25°C. Daily full cycling is within spec, not an edge case.

 Q1:How long will a 15kWh battery last during a power outage?
 A1:Around 15 hours at 1,000W of household load, about 37 hours at 400W (fridge, lights, internet), roughly 6 hours with a fridge and one air conditioner running, and about 3.7 hours at the 4,000W battery-only limit.
 Q2:Is the output 5kVA or 4kVA? 
 A2:Both, in different conditions. Rated output is 5kVA when solar is contributing or the unit is running PV-only; on battery alone it is 4kVA. Both are continuous, with 102–120% overload for one minute.
 
 Q3:Can it run without solar panels? 
  A3:Yes. The AC input (90–280V in APP/generator mode, 170–264V in UPS mode) charges the battery from the grid or a generator. Solar can be added to the MPPT input later.
 
 Q4:Will it work with my generator?
 A4:The generator mode accepts 90–280VAC with a 20ms transfer time, and input power factor is ≥0.99. Voltage and frequency of the generator should sit within that band.
 
 Q5:Can the POWER 15 be installed outdoors?
 A5: The cabinet is IP54 (dust-protected, resistant to water spray) and forced-air cooled, so a garage, plant room or covered outdoor area is acceptable. It is not rated for direct rain or standing water.
